Sribi Switi (Surinamese for ‘sleep well’) is a playful children’s show with a universal story, inspired by well-known Dutch and Surinamese children’s stories and songs.

‘Klein, klein vogeltje’ vliegt naar Berlijn! Na drie shows in januari 2026 over de grens, landt deze hiphopvoorstelling voor kids in februari 2027 weer in Nederland voor een reprise.

‘Three little birds’ flies to Berlin! After three shows across the border in January 2026, this hip-hop performance for kids will land back in the Netherlands in February 2027 for a reprise.

De première van onze dans- en muziekvoorstelling KABITENI was een groot succes. Ook was de echte kabiteni uit Suriname, waar de voorstelling op is gebaseerd, erbij.

De Surinaamse kabiteni, waarop de dans- en muziekvoorstelling gebaseerd is, is bij de première op vrijdag 7 november in theater Zuidplein. We spreken haar in een Q&A na de voorstelling. Dit doen we ook bij onze speciale voorstelling op de Surinaamse onafhankelijkheidsdag, 25 november, in theater de Krakeling in Amsterdam.

POWER is a double bill that highlights origins, power and creativity from two perspectives, with two powerful performances.

The compelling theater and dance performance DOPE reveals how drugs, like an invisible line, connect all sorts of people in our lives. With dynamic (hip-hop) dance, monologues, and intimate conversations, a drug user, a parent, a customs officer, and a user share honest stories about the role drugs play in their world. For some, it’s a celebration; for others, it’s literally the dumpster.

De indringend theater- en dansvoorstelling DOPE laat zien hoe drugs als een onzichtbare lijn allerlei soorten mensen in onze levens verbindt. Met dynamische (hiphop)dans, monologen en intieme gesprekken vertellen een uithaler, een ouder, een douanier en een gebruiker het eerlijke verhaal over de rol van drugs in hun wereld. Voor de één is dat een feestje, voor de ander letterlijk de container.

The dancers Giorgio Costa, Remses Rafaela and Pom Arnold worked their magic on children already 44 times with their hiphop, breakdance and phantasy.

Voor onze cast van 2 dansers en 2 acteurs zoeken we nog 1 danser (M). We zijn op zoek naar een energieke hiphopdanser met een krachtige stagepresence die bij voorkeur bekend is met verschillende stijlen: van stand up dance tot floorwork/break. Als je ervaring of affiniteit hebt met spel is dat een pré. Een flexibele houding en bereidheid om nieuwe dingen uit te proberen worden gewaardeerd.

Recent gaven de dansers van onze nieuwe voorstelling KABITENI een korte preview in het AVROTROS-programma CultuurCrush.

Op Marrondag in Rotterdam, 10 oktober, laten we een preview zien van onze voorstelling KABITENI in theater Zuidplein. Dit theater biedt een vol programma dat de kracht, cultuur en strijdlust van de Marron-gemeenschap viert.

“Als wij iets doen, geloven ze ons,” zegt Giorgio Costa tegen Eric Corton in het radio-programma Kunststof. Hij werd hier uitgenodigd omdat zijn dansvoorstelling ‘Klein, klein vogeltje’ is genomineerd voor de Jonge Zwaan Dansproductie 2025. Deze theater- en dansvoorstelling is gemaakt onder de vlag van Lloydscompany.

Create4, a dance group led by Ibrah Silas Jackson, interacts excitingly with the modern-classical sounds of the DoelenEnsemble in ‘Body to Body’. Lloydscompany guides the group in creating an intense program full of energy, rhythm and physical expression.
