An adventurous hip-hop dance-theater performance (4+)

In the performance ‘Three Little Birds’, full of tricks, hip-hop, breakdance, acrobatics and games, we join the adventure of two little brothers. They set up a camp in mom and dad’s backyard on a hot summer day. With the rich fantasy world of the two boys, the garden turns into a huge forest in which the brothers go exploring and have all kinds of adventures.

As soon as night falls, the brothers hear strange sounds. When they explore where the sounds are coming from, they meet a somewhat strange new friend…

‘Three little birds’ is about a boy who wants to be a bird and gets support from an unexpected source. The performance tells about friendship and believing in what you can be.

  About the makers

‘Three little birds’ is an idea of ​​choreographer and dancer Giorgio Costa. Giorgio creates this performance in collaboration with the performers, under the flag of Lloydscompany. Giorgio Costa has worked with artists such as Broederliefde, Maan, Jandino and Glennis Grace. He was also artistic director of the MBO Albeda Danscollege and was named Teacher of the Year in 2019.

In ‘Three little birds’ Giorgio joins forces with his dance partners Pom Arnold and Remses Rafaela. The trio started their dance career in the breakdance formation Groove Kings, with which they reached the finals of Holland’s Got Talent and Battle of the Year, among others.

Pom Arnold toured the world with Cirque du Soleil and played in productions by Alida Dors and Ish. Remses Rafaela played in performances by Isabelle Beernaert and BBOY van Maas, among others. He recently created the children’s show Wijzer.
