Lloyds Bank puts on a show with the Soweto Skeleton Movers in South Africa
Last week, our artistic director (Lloyd Marengo) and business director (Jade Schiff) were in Soweto, South Africa. There's a really great collaboration coming up. Lloyd will begin the creative process for a new performance with the Soweto Skeleton Movers in December 2022.

New maker Yentl Kolau to Los Angeles

Breakdancing in Rotterdam is 40 years old, and this was celebrated with an exhibition and a 4-part documentary series on OPEN Rotterdam.

The first performance by Hassani Le Couvreur & Argil Randon, Loops of Fear, is about the social pressure artists often experience: get a 'good' education and choose a 'normal' job.

New maker Amira in Morocco
Project period: October 1, 2019, to November 1, 2020
For her Urban Arts Talent Project from the Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie, Amira travelled to Morocco for research.

LloydsCompany mentors Amira Al Rawi.
Amira is a driven young dancer and theatre maker. In Arabic, 'rawi' means storyteller, and Amira does justice to that. Through her plays, Amira tells stories of individuals navigating within communities. She translates and tells stories, and responds to and reflects on social issues.
