Our House: an ode to house by Wennah Wilkers
On February 25th, the talented Wennah Wilkers, in co-production with Lloydscompany, will pay tribute to house dance at the Bellevue Theatre. An international cast of exceptional performers dances 'Our House' to music by Matt Benyayer. The audience is also invited to dance along.
In the fall of 2024, the talented dancer and choreographer Wennah Wilkers presented her latest performance, Our House, a co-production with Lloydscompany. Our House is an impressive ode to House dance. This dynamic dance style, known for its energetic footwork, cyphers, and sense of community, is central to the performance.
An industrial, underground, and community atmosphere is being created, inviting the audience to participate in the sense of togetherness and the meditative state of Our House. The music, specially created for Our House by British producer Matt Benyayer (UK), contributes to the industrial, underground atmosphere that permeates the performance.
The performance can be seen on Tuesday, February 25th at 8:30 PM at the Bellevue Theatre.
