Podcast with makers of Lloydscompany

Good news for your ears! Starting today, you can listen to our creators on our podcast. From the established B-boy Junior to the talented Dorrit Griffioen: they're all featured.

In addition to creating performances, Lloydscompany also mentors new creators. Think of the talented Wennah Wilkers, the up-and-coming Ibrah Silas Jackson, or the rough diamond Dorrit Griffioen. Often with the support of the Cultural Participation Fund, we guide these creators on their way. This enabled Filipino dancer Wilkers to create two performances of her own as an ode to cypher and house dance. Ibrah Silas Jackson created his performance Until the quiet comes with coaching from Lloydscompany, which led to his admission to the European development program Attitudes. There, he further developed Hereditary, which he was able to showcase at the San Francisco International Hip Hop DanceFest and Afrovibes.

Top choreographer Lloyd Marengo also involves new creators in theater performances: two dancers from KABITENI won the VandenEnde grant. Within the Lloydscompany network, these new creators can learn from experienced dancers such as Bboy Junior, who dances with Maikel Walker POWER at the Steps dance festival in Switzerland.
