Ibrah Jackson goes international

Ibrah Silas Jackson is going international. He has already shown his play The Hereditary in six locations in Europe as part of the European program Attitudes, but now he is even crossing the European border. Lloyds company supported him at the beginning of his career. Now he's joining the lineup of the Afrovibes Festival and the San Francisco International Hip Hop DanceFest.

Lloydscompany supported Ibrah Silas Jackson in creating the piece Until the Quiet Comes, with which he was selected for Attitudes. In this European co-creation program, he worked on his new play The Hereditary and showcased it in six European cities. In this duet, dancers Angel Gonzalez Felix and Joao Balde Arias explore the weight of toxic masculinity passed down from generation to generation. What follows is a physical conversation about memory, masculinity, and healing through explosive movements.
