Little, little bird to Berlin and back to the Netherlands in 2027
The success of our children's show “Klein, klein vogeltje” (Little, little bird) is not limited to the Netherlands. After more than forty shows in the Netherlands, the three dancers will fly across the border in January to dance for children and their parents at the Tanzfestival in Berlin. They will perform there a total of three times, twice for schools. In the spring of 2027, the hip-hop and theatre show will return to Dutch theatres.
'Klein, klein vogeltje' is the brainchild of Giorgio Costa and was created under the banner of Lloydscompany. Dancers Giorgio Costa, Remses Rafaela and Pom Arnold have already enchanted children 44 times with their hip-hop and breakdancing, acrobatics, imagination and acting. The tour was supposed to end in late May 2025, but has already been extended due to its success. In October, the children's show was nominated for the Jonge Zwaan Dansproductie 2025 (Young Swan Dance Production 2025).
KLEIN, KLEIN VOGELTJE
In a performance full of tricks, hip-hop and breakdancing, acrobatics and play, the audience goes on an adventure with two brothers. On a warm day, they are allowed to camp in their parents' back garden, which in their imagination turns into a huge forest. As evening falls, the brothers hear strange noises and meet a strange new friend...
‘Little, little bird’ is about a boy who wants to be a bird and receives support from an unexpected source. The performance tells a story about friendship and believing in what you can be.

ABOUT THE CREATORS OF ‘KLEIN, KLEIN VOGELTJE’
‘Klein, klein vogeltje’ is the brainchild of choreographer and dancer Giorgio Costa. He has previously worked with artists such as Broederliefde, Maan, Jandino and Glennis Grace. He was also artistic director of the MBO Albeda Danscollege and was named Teacher of the Year in 2019.
In ‘Klein, klein vogeltje’, Giorgio joins forces with his dance partners from the very beginning: Pom Arnold and Remses Rafaela. The trio started their dance careers together in the breakdance formation Groove Kings, with which they reached the finals of Holland’s Got Talent and Battle of the Year, among other things.
Pom Arnold toured the world with Cirque du Soleil and performed in productions by Alida Dors, Ish, and earlier performances by Lloydscompany. Remses Rafaela has performed in productions by Isabelle Beernaert and BBOY van Maas, among others. He recently created the children's show Wijzer.
