Lloyd Marengo choreographed B-Boy, commissioned by Maas Theatre and Dance. B-BOY offers a theatrical glimpse into the lives of five b-boys and the world of battling.

A meeting between very different dance personalities who sometimes defy the laws of gravity with brute force and then again with feline agility.

What I like about Lloyd is that he's a choreographer who has a lot of heart for dancers. He has a good sense of what someone needs, both physically and mentally, to perform at their best.

Furthermore, Lloyd has been moving just as easily in the hip-hop battle scene, where he himself originated, as in the theatre and performing arts sector for years. And we desperately need those kinds of bridge builders. Jolanda Spoel – Director of B-Boy
