The first part of the performance POWER is about the borders with Switzerland. Dancers Maikel Walker and Junior Bosila Banya (B-Boy Junior) will shine at the world-famous Steps festival. This festival takes place from March 9th to 29th in various locations across the country, such as Basel and Geneva. Maikel and Junior will be dancing on March 8th at the Nebia Theatre in Biel, on March 11th at the LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura in Lugano, and on March 14th at the Dampfzentrale in Bern.

POWER is a double bill, meaning a performance with two parts, highlighting origin, strength, and creativity from two perspectives, with two powerful performances. Both performances take you on the personal journey the creators undertook in their lives.

‘STILL GOING STRONG’

The first part, 'Still Going Strong,' is danced by Maikel Walker and Junior Bosila Banya (B-Boy Junior). They are two pioneers in the breakdance scene and both a true inspiration to many and to each other. Twenty-three years ago, B-Boy Junior Maikel saw him dancing; he discovered a reflection of himself, as both are differently abled. In this performance, they share their life stories from childhood to the present day in a powerful virtual way.
