LLOYDS
COMPANY

Until the quiet comes
Through powerful, fluid and explosive hip-hop dance, Until The Quiet Comes draws you into the world of young men of colour. In this world, the expectations of society, friends and family are constantly at odds with the search for one’s own identity.
In this new production, Ibrah Silas Jackson, together with the dancers of Create4, creates an intense and compelling journey through the past, present and future. From choices that have already been made, through the moment when you learn to be yourself, to a future full of dreams, pressures and possibilities.
Until The Quiet Comes is a physical, honest and moving performance about identity, resilience and the silence that arises when you finally dare to follow your own voice. A short version of *Until The Quiet Comes* premiered in 2024 at Oude Luxor during Breakin’ Convention NL. At Maaspodium, Ibrah and Create4 will present the full-length version for the first time on 4 December.
